Work
Experience
Sept 2022 - Oct 2023
Mechanical Design Engineer
Lam Research
During my tenure at Lam Research, I contributed through hardware design and simulation using NX, specializing in the design of sheet metal and machined metal parts. Engaging in various development and maintenance projects, I excelled in structuring Single and Multi-level BOMs through Siemen's IPLM and Team Center. I collaborated within cross-functional teams, spanning all roles behind the product, to produce innovative design solutions. We collaborated through initial design reviews through to final reviews and part number integration & BOM structuring. I designed and constructed test fixtures, conducted in-depth lab work, and performed diverse testing, encompassing heat testing in controlled chambers, PCW system testing with flow meters and pressure transducers, Swaged fittings, DAQ systems, 3D printing prototypes, and the use of force gauges for push/pull applications.
April 2021 - Sept 2022
Mechanical Projects Engineer
Marian Inc.
At Marian Inc, I played a pivotal role in delivering precision die-cut solutions to customers in the consumer electronics space, focusing on mobile phones and earbuds. My expertise lay in aiding in the design of die cuts, encompassing adhesive parts, shims, and thermally & electrically conductive components. A notable achievement was spearheading the transition to biodegradable and post-consumer recycled products, showcasing a commitment to sustainable practices. I meticulously assessed customer drawings for manufacturability at Marian plants, engaging in weekly meetings with the manufacturing plant to align needs and capacities, facilitating effective communication with the customer. Regular communication and the organization and management of tests were integral to understanding material behavior in specific applications.
May 2018 - April 2021
Process and Design Engineer
TTM Technologies
I began my time at TTM Tech as an intern. My internship goals centered on enhancing facility processes and preventing scrap products. Assigned projects in drilling/routing, panel registration, and raw material organization under multiple mentors, I not only completed these assignments but also undertook additional projects, ultimately saving the company approximately $80,000 in projected annual scrap. After my initial internship period of 3 months I was offered an Engineering Technician position. I then collaborated with process engineers to boost process efficiency and panel output. My responsibilities included conducting Design of Experiments (DOE) for implementing new processes, refining existing ones, and ensuring the functionality of machinery.

Education
2013 - 2018
San Jose State University | B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
I studied Mechanical Engineering with a focus in mechanical system design. Lucky enough to be situated in the heart of Silicon Valley, my experience at SJSU was enriching for my career. All along the way I made lifelong friends.
2023 - Present
City College of San Francisco | Psychology AA
I am vastly interested in neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience, specifically neurochemicals and how we can manipulate them to get desired behavioral outcomes. Our brains are the driver behind every choice that we make. From the perspective of a product design engineer, understanding the thought process behind the decisions of the end customer is crucial to creating a final product that is sought after.
